Do not become depressed or downhearted. Do not dwell on every tiny setback in the course of pursuing your chosen path. To do so would be foolish. Victory or defeat is determined by what we make of our own lives.
What is enviable about the pretentious rich? What is so great about conceited celebrities? What is admirable about political leaders who gained their positions of power by treating others with distain and contempt?
There is no need to go seeking greener fields. Dig right where you are, for there lies a seam of untold riches. Our Karma fits us like a glove, and no matter what the situation we are trying to change, we are always in exactly the right place to make the causes that will, given time, effect that change.

I seem to be in sync with you as of days. Patience is its own virtue. I understood the meaning in its complete meaning. Even trust was just a word. Buddhism has helped me with my life in so many facets that every new day is just that a new day. Granted my mind tries to remind me of my past habits and rituals but my path is different these days. It’s so much brighter everyday and yes setbacks I see are inevitable. I see to its the world as it is. It is was it is. I see how patience in even my enemies is my blessing and my teacher. Anger is no longer a passenger with me as of this day as it helps no situation and can only eliminate all ones hard work. Namaste.
