My progress, through my Practice, has been pretty steady and positive for quite a while now.
So imagine my surprise when I seemed to take a step backwards today. Nothing terminal, of course, and maybe it was long overdue and rather understandable.
Naturally, it’s tempting to only blog my successes, the good things, and paint a rosy picture. But that wouldn’t be a true reflection of my path.
I’m not going to go into details, those who need to know, already know, but I am going to use this challenge to strengthen my resolve, so more poison into medicine and proof that my faith is strong.

Hi …. I haven’t looked at your blog for a couple of weeks and it seems that you are going through a bit of a tough time. Sorry to hear that and I hope things get better.
I had the ‘at risk letter’ the latter part of last year. I stayed and the atmosphere at the company is now dire to say the least.
Life is really tough at the moment and like you I am finding all sorts of coping mechanisms to deal with the pains in life. The anxiety is still there though no matter how much of a wise philosophical spin we seek to place on life’s trials and tribulations. Words are words at the end of the day and we have the capacity to make a heaven out of hell and a hell out of heaven. At the not withstanding the positive words I use life is really painful.
One good thing is the I.T market is picking up which bodes well.
All the best…

Hi Gary, sorry to hear that you are having a tough time too. I hope the upturn in the IT world helps you, but I’m seriously considering getting out of it and moving my whole life onto the canals. Nowhere near as lucrative in money terms, but a lot more fresh air and a great deal of job satisfaction. Watch this space 🙂

A few years ago I had a notion to live on the canals. I went up to Northampton way to a canal boat show and went on a boat. I walk from one end of the canal boat to the other and felt a bit motion sick. That put pay to that idea. I do have a strong hankering for the simple life. Be free and I really hope it all works out for you. Best regards, Gary
